A path toward licensing outdoor learning for everyone...

The Outdoor Preschool Policy Action Framework, developed by the Willamette Partnership, is designed to help advocates — from parents and teachers to elected officials and early childhood administrators — find a pathway toward licensure that fits both their community and their state. This guide is designed to support advocates across the nation in taking the actions necessary to ensure outdoor learning programs can be licensed, thereby increasing access to high-quality outdoor and nature-based learning and taking an important step in addressing issues of equity in education and the outdoors.
